Biofuels Bloom at the Flower Show
"From Our Farms to Our Tanks" exhibit, a collaborative partnership
between the Cincinnati Park Board and the Tri-State Clean Fuels
Network, featured a car covered with soybeans and corn kernels, two
main sources of domestic biofuels production. They golden pond
with its oil derrick pumping a clear pure substance was a symbol of
the low impact of biofuel production on the environment. The
landscaping material reflected the exhibit's thematic color scheme of
green and yellow. Green represented plant life and our
commitment to create a cleaner environment. Yellow represented
sunlight, the source of energy necessary to the life cycle. The
exhibit received a gold medal from the Cincinnati Horticultural
Society and the American Horticultural Society Award. Cargill
